"In remaking and surpassing the 1970s mainstream 'Inserts,' [Karch] employs an outstanding use of perspective, defines time period by camera type, and directs a sex scene for the ages, featuring husband and wife team Voodoo and Nicole Sheridan, in a very public moment of marital bliss," Lonberger wrote.
"'Insertz' shows that adult film succeeds where mainstream fails, due to the directness of its approach," the review continued. "Whereas the original 'Inserts' was self-aware and pretentious, this remake is both more convincing and sincere, making it much more relevant and believable. It is an example of the kind of accomplished filmmaking that occurs when the Old Lions awake."
The film is released through Sinsation Pictures and distributed through Wicked Pictures.
