Zivity Signs On as ASACP Corporate Sponsor

LOS ANGELES — Startup site Zivity has become the newest Corporate Sponsor for ASACP.

Founded in 2007, Zivity Inc. is a privately held company in downtown San Francisco. The Zivity website is planned to be a social media platform for models, photographers and fans of female pin-up photography. It is a community for adults only that shares revenue with models and photographers who contribute content, and offers interaction with models for its members.

“Zivity is for adults only and we want it to remain that way,” Zivity Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Wescott said. “We are working with organizations such as ASACP to help keep children safe on the Internet.”

ASACP Executive Director Joan Irvine was impressed with Zivity showing interest even before the site launched.

“Before Zivity launched to the public they wanted to get ASACP’s approval. We are so impressed with their commitment to protecting children," Irvine told XBIZ. "Not only do they work very hard to make sure all models are 18 and over, they do not even permit child themes in the photography that is submitted.”

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online.
