Sudden Impact Inks Deal With Antigua Pictures

CHATSWORTH, Calif. — Internet content producer Sudden Impact has moved its foreign and domestic DVD sales and broadcast distribution from Addictive Entertainment to Antigua Pictures. Run by industry veteran Jon Blatt, Antigua will begin its distribution deal on Nov. 1 with the release of “Tiny’s Black Adventures 4.”

Blatt told XBIZ that the terms of the deal call for his company to distribute four Sudden Impact titles per month. Blatt already has brokered a broadcast output deal between the Internet-based company and satellite content provider New Frontier Media.

Helmed by Derek Dozer and male performer Julian, Sudden Impact is the DVD production arm of Internet affiliate program Traffic Cash Gold. The company’s popular lines include “Big Tit Patrol,” “Giant Black Meat White Treat,” “Big Cock Teen Addiction,” “Barefoot Maniacs” and “Mr. Big Dick’s Hot Chicks.”

Sudden Impact formerly was known as Twisted Pink before launching its current label that specializes in gonzo/reality-style content last December.

Blatt said that the addition of Sudden Impact strengthens Antigua’s roster of distributing DVDs from Internet-based companies. The company already has a deal in place for 21st Sextury, a European Internet production studio.

“I find that it helps [my sales] when there’s a following already from the Internet,” Blatt said. “This way, there’s a built-in fan base. Any edge I can have in this tough DVD sales market, I’ll take.”

Blatt said that while Antigua still dabbles in production, its focus is mostly on international distribution. The firm exclusively represents Vivid Entertainment, Club Jenna and Teravision for international broadcast rights.
