Deacon, who worked for companies such as Evil Angel, Pink Visual and Notorious and is married to performer Joselyn Pink, still enjoys his work in X-rated productions but felt it was time to expand his options. That opportunity presented itself soon after he signed on to Lisa Ann's Talent Management agency.
"It came out of nowhere," he said. "I was in L.A. for three weeks, Lisa Ann put me on her site and she asked me if I could do a casting call."
The members of the casting crew for "Sex With the Stars," headed by Creative Image Management's Robert Lombard, didn't ask any questions but took an instant liking to him, Deacon said, and credited his East Coast personality for winning them over and securing his place in the program.
However, as easy as it is for him to perform naked in hardcore movies, Deacon said he found himself nervous while fully clothed on a mainstream set.
"This is all new territory for me," he said.
Sex With the Stars, directed by Edward Gorsuch, will premiere on DirecTV later this year.
