Partygoers also will get to mix and mingle with Trashy’s roster of models at the party. Adult performers Sophia Santi and Tall Goddess have appeared as models on the Trashy website, as well as other well-known pin-up girls and actresses including Julie Strain, Masuimi Max and Aimee Sweet, among others.
Trashy spokesperson Bridget told XBIZ this is the first Halloween bash that Trashy has thrown in Los Angeles in two years, due to previous contractual agreements.
“We had an exclusivity contract in Vegas, where we were throwing all our Trashy parties and that has now ended. So, we’re free to throw parties anywhere now,” Bridget said.
“L.A. is our backyard and since we get so many requests to do Trashy parties here, we wanted to make all our friends, family and fans happy by throwing one. Trashy is known for our high-end custom women's Halloween costumes, as much as we are known for our lingerie, so having a Halloween party makes perfect sense to make our L.A. comeback,” she said.
Founded by Mitchell and Tracy Shrier nearly 25 years ago, Trashy Lingerie is famous for attracting a celebrity clientele that includes many of Hollywood’s most well-known personalities: Cher, Traci Lords, Winona Ryder, Roseanne, Elizabeth Berkley, Demi Moore, Brigette Nielson, Julia Roberts, Goldie Hawn, Sharon Stone, Heather Locklear, Susan Sarandon, Bette Midler, Gwenyth Paltrow and Brooke Shields, among others.
Trashy specializes also in custom-made lingerie for the hard-to-fit figure and employs 30 seamstresses, hand sewers and pattern makers, with all product being manufactured on-premises, exclusively for the store. Trashy also is members-only — shoppers purchase a $5 membership, which entitles them to store privileges.
Halloween is their busiest time of year, according to Bridget, though the store sells costumes year-round.
“We have been planning for this Halloween since back in January and started selling steadily in August,” Bridget said. “By Oct. 1, we stopped taking custom orders as our seamstresses are fully booked until Oct. 31 filling those orders. What is left is the stock in the store so come in as soon as possible, if you’re planning on buying a Trashy original.”
She adds that the store will sell thousands of costumes for Halloween. This year’s favorites are the Marie Antoinette, the Mermaid and the military-styled line called Major Trouble.
The party is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
Tickets are available at the store, located at 402 N. La Cienega Blvd., or at WantTickets.com. Trifecta is located at 200 South Hill St., in downtown Los Angeles. VIP table arrangements can be made by calling (323) 571- 4000.
