Naughty Cravings Adds Ingredients to Body Chocolate, Taffy

BAKER CITY, Ore. — Body dessert manufacturer Naughty Cravings has improved its body chocolate and taffy in response to a growing consumer concern for healthier products.

Naughty Cravings' Lisa Chambers said that after seeing a survey conducted by The National Association for the Specialty Food Trade that stated 73 percent of Americans read food labels and prefer to buy organic and gourmet foods, she decided to follow suit with her edible adult novelties.

Chambers said she uses only organic and nongenetically modified ingredients in her body taffy and chocolate and has designed the products labels to appeal to a more health-conscious — and gourmet-conscious — consumer.

"People are no longer confining their preferences to just what they eat for a meal, they want high-quality, gourmet, organic items for food play as well," Chambers said. "They watch their sugar content, artificial ingredients and taste in all of their edibles and Naughty Cravings is there to satisfy their demands.”

Customers also can see exactly what the sweets they are eating off of each other are made of — Naughty Cravings now lists the sources of all of its ingredients on its product labels.

Chambers said she saw it as an opportunity to stand out in the adult novelty industry by doing so, and retailers' feedback has made it clear it was a good decision.

"As retailers began asking us for a body butter that met their clients' requests for being gourmet and vegan we saw the opportunity to lead the industry in furthering the quality of adult novelty edibles by listing our sources," Chambers said. "Retailers appreciate being able to respond to their customers' requests.”
