The three-month approval process required background checks, fingerprint checks, contract approvals and the posting of bonds to receive the license from California's Division of Labor Standards Enforcement.
"I've been on several ends of the industry: public relations, sales. I became talent about a year-and-a-half ago," De'Bella told XBIZ. "I decided that the next step would be to form a talent agency, to help talent get started on the right foot instead of just throwing them in the pool and saying, 'There you go.'"
Talent does not have to be exclusive to Generation XXX, and "if we get them work, we get money from the company that hires them," De'Bella said.
According to De'Bella, Generation XXX Productions will offer benefit plans for the talent it represents, including medical, dental and life insurance programs, plus attorney services, financial planning and other personal and professional programs.
Plans call for the Generation XXX Productions website to be functional by the end of this week, with an application for potential talent to apply for representation and a place for producers to see the talent available for work.
De’Bella said that one of the requirements for talent agencies is that the license number must be on all websites.
