XBIZ Awards 2008 'Nominate Us' Button Now Available

LOS ANGELES — With the nomination period for the 2008 XBIZ Awards open to the adult entertainment industry and in full swing, XBIZ is encouraging community members to promote the open nominations by carrying on their sites a coded button enabling visitors to nominate them.

In order to submit a nomination, users must first be registered with XBIZ. To register for an account, click here.

Companies, webmasters, stars, directors, producers and publicists are encouraged to feature the handy nomination button on their websites, which directs users to the nominee submission form on XBIZAwards.com. Nominations currently are open and run through Dec. 31.

After the total list of nominees is reviewed by XBIZ, the media company will publish a list of finalists in each category based on the total number of nominations.

That list will be published the second week of January, and the winners will be honored at the 2008 XBIZ Awards, to be held Feb. 7, 2008, at The Highlands in Hollywood, Calif.

“Carrying the button on your site makes it easy for people to nominate your company,” XBIZ Sales Manager Kristen Kaye said. “Everyone who clicks is taken directly to our official registration page. Since the total number of nominations in each category determines the final list of nominees, nominate early and often!”

This year’s award show will take place in conjunction with the XBIZ Hollywood ’08 Conference Feb. 6-8 at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, Calif., an annual industry conference featuring three days of networking, workshops, seminars and parties.

Now in its 6th year, the highly regarded XBIZ Awards features expanded categories in the areas of web and technological achievement, as well as brand-new awards presented for the first time to outstanding video producers, performers and studios.

Sponsorship opportunities for the 2008 XBIZ Awards and XBIZ Hollywood Conference are still available. Contact Kristen Kaye at kristen@xbiz.com or (310) 820-0228, ext. 702.
