DCypher told XBIZ that he originally intended “Erotic Aftershock” to be the sequel to his critically acclaimed “Power Lines” from Cal Vista/Metro. However, when he left the company, he took the script with him. After being signed exclusively to Club Jenna, DCypher was excited to finally get the movie made — after some production tweaks.
“We wanted a cop drama to show my range as a director,” DCypher said. “We wanted to show off three contract girls including Roxy [Jezel], who was new. I was working on impressing them and dealing with producer issues; fighting with the company a lot about creative differences. Through all that we got what I think is an amazing movie.”
All three Club Jenna girls appear in two scenes each, with an all-girl capper.
DCypher credits editor John 5 with creating the slick, stylized L.A. underworld that serves as the setting for the movie. John 5 spent months in postproduction editing fight sequences and adding gunshots and CGI effects.
DCypher completed 12 movies while under contract with Club Jenna. He now is free to work for other companies.
