Haughey Named Hustler Apparel VP

BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. — Hustler Apparel has named merchandising veteran Jason Haughey as vice president overseeing daily operations of the company's clothing division.

Haughey said he will bring his eight years of retail and apparel experience working with mainstream clothing brand No Fear to the ever-growing Hustler brand.

“In my retail experience, I’ve seen a lot of brands come and go,” Haughey said, “but Hustler has always had the vision and soul that it takes to stay ahead of the pack. I’m just excited to bring a fresh perspective to a major player in today’s marketplace.”

Hustler Apparel President Eric Gullett said that Haughey has a keen eye for trends and design developments, a key skill for maintaining the brand's future success.

"Jason will be a huge asset to the progression of the brand," Gullett said. "We must continually develop cutting-edge product in order to meet the already-high expectations of the next generation of Hustler.”

Hustler founder Larry Flynt said that since the first Hustler Hollywood store opened in 1998, the company has recognized a worldwide demand for the brand on shirts, hats and bags.

"Having Jason onboard will take Hustler Apparel to the next level,” Flynt said.

LFP President Michael H. Klein agreed saying that Haughey's creativity and vast knowledge of the apparel and retail industries will be a major benefit to the company and Hustler Apparel brand.

“The Hustler Apparel line has been growing every year," Klein said, "and bringing on someone with Jason’s expertise will help facilitate an even quicker expansion in the retail marketplace.”
