Big Teaze President and head designer Tony Levine said he felt his company needed to expand its product line for the luxury adult lifestyle market and set forth to design a collection made of high-end plastics, stainless steel and nonporous silicone in a clean and sleek style — a growing trend in the adult toy market.
"The B3 Collection reflects the growing acceptance of sex by society as a whole," Levine said. "The B3 pieces are works of art that are at home in the boudoir and appeal to a consumer's refined tastes. They're sophisticated playthings for the decadent."
Most importantly, he said, the B3 line is more affordable than some of the luxury adult products with which it shares boutique shelf space.
The B3 Collection includes the Onye, a glossy cylindrical vibrator with a textured grip designed to fit comfortably in the hand. It offers eight different vibration modes, three speeds and five pulsation patterns.
Also in the collection is the Tuyo, a handheld, globe-shaped massager designed to roll smoothly over the body, offering eight vibration modes, three speeds and five pulsation patterns. This toy, Levine said, is great for couples play.
The B3 Collection is available in both black and pink-and-white, and each product is packaged in a specially designed satin-lined case.
Big Teaze, best known for its I Rub My Duckie range of bathtub-toy-inspired vibrators, has designed its B3 line to be placed in upscale mainstream and adult boutiques, and currently is being placed in Sonia Rykiel Woman, Henri Bendel and Sephora.
