Sean Michaels Joins Porn Biz School Seminars

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. — Veteran adult performer Sean Michaels has joined Porn Biz School, a weekend education program focusing on the adult industry.

Porn Biz School offers a "fun yet intense" weekend program for curious fans and would-be professionals who want to learn the inside information about adult production.

"I've been representing adult websites since 1996," founding attorney A.J. Comparetto told XBIZ. "In 2000, we developed a video course and we still kept getting the same questions. We came up with a boot camp seminar format where we take them through live training. We have them interview models, we have them do model releases, just like they're actually going to shoot. The second day we take them through shooting, make them do little skits with the talent. The third day is all business development, including correct placement of capital and networking."

The school has been operating in Florida since 2002 but just started offering seminars in Los Angeles.

"We were having people fly from L.A. to here," Comparetto said. "I thought it was funny that people were flying from the industry hub to St. Petersburg. We decided to go bigger and go to L.A., in the heart of the industry."

Michaels plans to focus on the talent and production side of the seminar.

"People need to learn the basics and right now there is no place to go," Michaels said. "Few people have the actual experience I have — the technical knowledge, the details that can only come from experience. I feel like I am giving a new generation a gift. Here are my keys. Now you go open the door.”

The next Porn Biz School seminar will be in held in Newport Beach, Calif., Friday through Sunday. From Jan. 13-15, a "mega boot camp" will be held in Las Vegas right after the Adult Entertainment Expo. For more information, visit the Porn Biz School website or call (727) 565-9089.
