"I'm really looking forward to going and representing Wicked," Drake told XBIZ. "It's a great opportunity for everybody to show up and have a great time. It's a great show of support for animals, that don't really have a voice."
Cuties for Canines is a California nonprofit organization that focuses on placing red-listed dogs — the ones most at risk to be killed — from shelters around Los Angeles. They typically do not work with smaller dogs and puppies, which usually get adopted the fastest. They generally place German shepherds, shepherd mixes and mutts.
The benefit, celebrating Cuties for Canines' first anniversary, will be held at the 5th and Sunset Studios, located at 12322 Exposition Blvd. in Los Angeles, from 8 p.m.-midnight on Friday. Red carpet arrivals will be 8-9:30 p.m.
