Spartacus Releases Breathable Spandex Hood

PORTLAND, Ore. — Specialty fetish manufacturer Spartacus Enterprises has introduced its latest foray into non-leather BDSM gear — a black Spandex hood.

Alice Beckett, Spartacus sales and marketing coordinator, said that the company created a Spandex version of its classic hood as a result of customer requests, which all centered on the desire for a washable and affordable hood in a Spartacus-branded package.

"The Spandex hood is strong on both counts, being more waterproof than leather and much more affordable as well," Beckett said. "The Spandex hood is a great complement to our large pre-existing hood line, which consists of very high-end leather hoods and masks.”

The hood features a stretchy Spandex shell with a reinforced blindfold covering the eyes and is packaged in the same small-sized package as the company's bit gag and thigh harness, so it is economical in terms of shelf space.
