Paradise Visuals Inks Distribution Deal With Anabolic

LAS VEGAS — Paradise Visuals has entered into a distribution deal to sell its classic adult titles and new releases with Anabolic.

Paradise Visuals boasts an impressive library of 65 Golden Age adult films, which include Christy Canyon’s first feature film “Ginger Lynn The Movie” and John Holmes’ last, “The Devil In Mr. Holmes.

The distribution deal is unique because it marks a partnership between a classic adult label and a stalwart gonzo outfit.

“When my partner and I resurrected Paradise Visuals in 2005, we were the first classic adult company to load our DVDs up with quality bonus features, including interviews with Christy Canyon, Ginger Lynn, Ron Jeremy and Bill Margold,” Paradise Visuals co-owner Jason Green told XBIZ. “In 2006, we became the first classic company in ages to make a ‘comeback’ and produce a new feature. Now I feel we made the biggest distribution deal any classic adult company has ever made.”

Immediate plans call for Anabolic to take over distribution of Paradise Visuals’ “The Make Up,” its first new release in more than 15 years. Green said that his company is exploring a separate DVD line that is more gonzo-oriented, but that Paradise Visuals fans can look forward to more story-driven features in 2008.

“We’ve been working on this deal since August,” Paradise Visuals co-owner Jason Green said. “We needed a top brand-name company to distribute our already brand-name titles and Anabolic was the perfect choice for us.

“Just because we were originally a classic company doesn’t mean we have to live in the past. It is Paradise’s goal to bring our movies, new and old, to a much wider audience and Anabolic can help us do that.”

In other Paradise Visuals news, Green said that his company has acquired the rights to 1994’s “John Wayne Bobbitt Uncut” directed by Ron Jeremy. The DVD stars Bobbitt, who achieved notoriety in the early 90’s when his then-wife Lorena chopped off his penis after a domestic dispute.

For future distribution plans, Paradise Visuals plans to release two classic titles per month from its library.
