LoveLA Announces Official Vendor List, Seminar Schedule

LOS ANGELES — LoveLA has released the official seminar schedule and list of adult toy companies that will be selling and showcasing products at the couples-oriented adult expo slated for Jan. 27.

"The success of LoveLA is 100-percent dependent on its vendors and educators," LoveLA founder Ian Denchasy told XBIZ. "Every entity and person participating in this event has been chosen specifically for their sexual knowledge, ethical business practices and positive contribution to the adult industry in general."

Thirty-five sex toy manufacturers and adult retailers will have branded booths dotted throughout LoveLA's showrooms located at local hot spots Boulevard 3 and the Social Hollywood ballroom.

Among the retailers participating are Stockroom.com, Babeland, Pleasure Chest and Freddy & Eddy, co-owned by Denchasy.

"We are not using monetary status as a criteria in our judgments, instead focusing on what each company brings to the table, adding value to the collective as a whole," Denchasy said. "Pleasure Chest, for example, is providing amazing show bags, while Babeland is coordinating our educational seminars. JT’s Stockroom lends their expertise in entertainment by putting together a dynamite fashion show, and so on."

High-end sex toy manufacturers scheduled for the show include The Screaming O, Funfactory, Sportsheets, Bonk Designs, Gear Essentials, Good Clean Love, Devine Toys, Lelo, Aneros and adult product manufacturers Shunga, Pjur, Pleasure Wipes and Sliquid.

Babeland Education/Marketing Coordinator Kristen Tribby has finalized the schedule of educational events planned, which include seminars discussing anal sex and BDSM play for beginners, "How to Please Your Man" and sex toy 101.

The seminars, available to attendees on a first-come, first-serve basis, will be hosted by a variety of industry figures, including fetish model Courtney Cruz, erotic educator Midori and Denchasy and his wife, Alicia, who host similar classes in their couples-friendly Venice, Calif., boutique.

Denchasy said that several specialty performances are scheduled throughout the day, as well, including an interactive burlesque act and fashion shows featuring lingerie and Stockroom.com latex and leather couture.

"It is our hope that, by setting aside differences, working together and striving toward a higher purpose, we can better the sexual world, which benefits us all," Denchasy said.

LoveLA is a one-day event scheduled Jan. 27 at Boulevard 3 in Hollywood, Calif. Tickets soon will be available at the show's website for $25 each, or $40 per pair. Tickets will be $35 at the door.

The event will culminate with a two-hour VIP business-to-business social with food, drinks and good times.
