Salas reportedly was found early yesterday at the house occupied by Redd Rose Talent, an apparent victim of a drug overdose.
Adult Industry veteran Kevin Blatt told XBIZ he learned that Salas mixed the drug OxyContin with alcohol.
"I don't believe it was a suicide though," Blatt said. "I think his liver probably shut down with the combination. I hope he rests in peace. It's a real shame — he had a young son, too, that he adored."
Blatt said Salas was a good guy who liked to drink a little too much, which occasionally got him into some trouble, but was a good shooter and a good friend.
