Wantedlist.Com Purchases GetNakedMovies.com Assets

LOS ANGELES — Online DVD rental and video-on-demand service WantedList Inc. has acquired assets of GetNakedMovies.com, an online adult DVD rental company.

WantedList will use the intellectual property, customers and technology assets from the acquisition to improve its own DVD rental services.

"I felt it was important to take the company I started and put it in the hands of the best in the business," GetNakedMovies.com owner and founder Todd Miller said. "I've admired the owners of WantedList.com for a long time so it wasn't a hard decision."

The acquisition may not be the last for WantedList, which acquired VOD provider Xflix.com last month.

"The completion of this acquisition of assets represents another step for WantedList in our strategy to accelerate growth in our core business," WantedList co-founder Anh Tran said. "There are a lot of significant changes going on in the industry right now and we're currently talking to a few other companies about how to help them through this phase, be it through acquiring their assets or partnering with us on other projects."

Financial terms were not announced.

WantedList.com offers its subscribers access to more than 20,000 adult titles for rental on a "no late fees, no due dates, no shipping fees" basis, as well as video-on-demand and DVD and novelty sales.

Website tools include consumer reviews, original editorials, new releases, performer pages and the "Pornotron" search tool. WantedList.com won Web Retailer of the Year at the 2007 XBIZ Awards. For more information, visit WantedList.com.
