“The special edition starts with the very first Falcon production,” Falcon Entertainment marketing director Troy Prickett told XBIZ, “'The Other Side of Aspen,’ [which] was filmed in the 70’s by [Falcon] founder Chuck Holmes.”
The retail price of the set is $99, but members at the Falcon website can buy the set at a special discounted price of $49.50.
According to Prickett, the scenes from many classic Falcon titles are included in the collection: “Other Side of Aspen 1,” “Spokes 1,” “Night Flight,” “In Your Wildest Dreams,” “The Abduction II-The Conflict,” “Flashpoint — Hot As Hell,” “The Code of Conduct 1 — Stripped,” “French Connections — Part 1,” “Absolute Aqua & Arid,” “Bad Behavior,” “The Deep South: The Big and the Easy Part 1,” “Cross Country Part 1” and “The Farmer’s Son,” to name a few.
There also are many legendary stars featured including Al Parker, Kristen Bjorn, Dick Fisk, Kurt Marshall, Kevin Williams, Kris Lord, Aiden Shaw, Hal Rockland, Ken Ryker, Eric Hanson, Chase Hunter, Tom Chase, Colby Taylor, Jeremy Penn, Josh Weston, Matthew Rush, Tyler Gunn, Brad Patton, Erik Rhodes and Roman Heart, among others.
One of Prickett’s favorite scenes is an interracial scene from “Night Flight.”
“I have to say one of our favorite scenes is with O.G. Johnson and Buster in ‘Night Flight,’” Prickett said. “It was Falcon’s first really high-end production with a full-scale airplane as its backdrop. The scene in the plane bathroom was both raw and intense. It was like being a fly on the wall — as much as a fly on the wall in an airplane bathroom can be.”
To celebrate the mega-sized set as well as the studio’s anniversary, Falcon is running a promotional contest. Thirty-five winning tickets have been placed in random sets; customers who purchase anniversary collections containing tickets will win 35 Falcon DVD titles, at a value of $2,100.
The Falcon 35th anniversary set has been issued in run of 3,000 units, just in time for holiday gift buying.
“Are you kidding? Of course it would make a great holiday gift,” Prickett said. “What more could you want than the ultimate collection of porn for Christmas or Hanukah? There were only 3,000 of the five-disc DVD collectors editions made so once they’re gone, that’s it, no more.”
