PerfectVideo.com Offers Gift Memberships

SAN FRANCISCO — PerfectVideo.com offers gift memberships for the holidays, where visitors to the site can buy friends a full subscription for less than the cost of a lap dance, the company said.

Gift memberships offer full access to all member areas and are available at three price points so shoppers have options: The introductory package is $19.95 for 15 days, the next level is $49.95 for 45 days, and the most indulgent package is $99.95 for 100 days.

“This is a great option for married friends or anyone with concerns about buying their own membership,” PerfectVideo.com President Perfect Jon said. "It offers a level of anonymity not available on many other sites. With no recurring billing it is a terrific way to take the site for a test drive before signing up for a standard membership.”

PerfectVideo.com features an embedded Flash player that lets members watch scenes on the site or expand to full-screen mode with no loss of clarity, the company said. Members can also download scenes in Windows Media and watch them later. There is no digital rights management on any of the content.

“One of the best things about these gift memberships is that the recipient can download hundreds of scenes for viewing long after their membership is finished. Our chief financial officer is not happy about that,” PerfectVideo.com Vice Presidnet of Marketing Philip S said.

“We were giving memberships to our friends when one of them asked for an account for someone as a bachelor party gift. He suggested the idea of making an option for people to ‘give the gift of porn’ and we agreed that sounded like a strong idea,” he said.
