Vivid Alt Hosts 'DeArmond’s Role-Modelling' Release Party

LOS ANGELES — Vivid Alt founder Eon McKai and director/performer Dana DeArmond will co-host an event celebrating the release of her newest project, “Dana DeArmond’s Role-Modeling,” a reality-style title that stars amateur performers from Baltimore via the Internet.

The party will be held at the 6th Street Warehouse, located at 1269 6th St. in downtown Los Angeles and is scheduled to start at 9 p.m.

The event will also be a benefit canned food drive for the Downtown Women’s Center, which provides support for low-income and homeless women.

Partygoers can have award-winning boxcover artist/adult director Alaska custom-silkscreen a design onto T-shirts they bring to the event. There will be also live music by local bands Sons and Lovers, Crystal Antlers and Restaurant.

DeArmond’s last release, “Dana DeArmond Does the Internet,” cultivated an online cult following for the quirky star, and now she’s giving back to the youth market demographic that’s into alt porn.

"'Dana DeArmond's Role Modeling' is about all the people who contact me on the Internet wanting to know how they can get involved in the porn industry, so I picked the most special and I made this movie about them," DeArmond said. "Because I am a good role model for the horny kids in America."

DeArmond told XBIZ, while the title was still in pre-production, that she found several of the newbie performers in Baltimore, home town of cult director John Waters. According to DeArmond, the city has an unexpected sexual dark side.

“Role-Modeling” chronicles the amateurs' experiences as DeArmond tries to break them into the business.

The movie stars DeArmond with amateurs Apple McCall, Rory Tonic, Casper Vice, Andy San Dimas, and Daniel, Alec Knight, Sascha, Jordan Ash and Johnny Utah.

The three-disc set features a CD soundtrack including OK Fox, Culture Prophet, The Deaf, Tuff Loves, Manhattan Music Box and Driver of the Year. The movie trailer can be viewed at the Vivid Alt website.
