Playboy Goes ‘Around the World in 80 Babes’

LOS ANGELES — Throughout February, March and April, Playboy TV will air “Around the World in 80 Babes.” The series will showcase women from all over the world, featuring “celebutantes” and beauties from Mexico City to Amsterdam.

The travelogue-based series will feature on woman per episode, videotaped in her native location.

Some of the models to be featured will include a hip-hop choreographer named Maya from Mexico City, a former competitive car racer/ski instructor named Linda from Stockholm, Sweden, an aspiring pop star named Anastajia from Belgrade, Serbia, as well as professional model Dani from London, burlesquer Brandy who hosts TV show “Ed the Sock” in Toronto, and model/reality TV star Dorien from Amsterdam.

The episodes started airing during the first week of February, every night during the Playboy TV Prime time slot from 8-11 p.m. Playboy TV Prime features short-format programming and “Around the World in 80 Babes” will be shown between regular shows.

Playboy TV is the most widely distributed network for adult content in the world and operates Playboy TV, as well as Playboy en Español and Playboy HD, which are offered on a pay-per-view and subscription VOD basis via cable, satellite and IPTV systems
