Black Widow to Distribute Team Tyler

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. – Team Tyler, performer Tyler Faith’s new production company, has signed with Black Widow Media for distribution of its future products.

Faith started the company in late April with partner Wankus of KSEXRadio. The company manages Faith’s feature dance schedule as well as Internet and video releases.

"People have been hearing about Team Tyler for a few months," Wankus said. "But (until now) nothing's really come of it. Tyler's been taking her time, putting all the pieces in place so she doesn't fall on her face. She really wants to make sure she does everything right, and she's been getting great advice and now we've got a great distribution company."

Faith has been a contract performer for Jill Kelly and Pleasure Productions and, while appreciating the opportunities being a contract performer has afforded her, felt she needed to claim ownership of her company.

"I could've gone back into the porn pool but decided that, as I am maturing in the business, my efforts and experience would be well suited for running my own company,” Faith said.

Securing a distribution deal is usually done with a few produced titles to present as a portfolio, but Black Widow Media president Ric Williams told XBiz that he was confident in Wankus’ production skills as well as Faith’s performance.

"We decided to distribute Team Tyler's productions without seeing a finished title based on the popularity Tyler Faith has among the adult fans and the years of experience she and Wankus have in the adult industry,” he said. “It's unorthodox, but Black Widow Media has the utmost confidence in their upcoming titles."

Faith has appeared in almost 120 scenes and films since 2002, according to the Internet Adult Film Database. Wankus' directing debut was with DVSX' "Sakura Tales."

Team Tyler’s first production, “UnFAITHful Secrets,” to be written and directed by Wankus, will be shot with Faith in late June and scheduled to release in August. Wankus says it is about a woman who films adult movies behind the back of her husband.
