PornResource Adds More Writers, Stats Tracking

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. – PornResource.com, a South Florida-based adult news and commentary site, has re-launched with new columnists and a niche stats tracking service.

“We started at a time when statistics were tracked per affiliate program instead of per niche,” PornResource President BossHawg told XBiz. “Now if you want to check which niche to sponsor, you can check our links.”

Statistics are updated monthly from Overture’s keyword search program and Alexa’s traffic rankings, then they are archived for webmasters to check a potential affiliate program’s progress. Two writers have been added to the site’s 15-person staff to provide commentary on the online adult market and how-to articles for webmasters.

Tracking data is also available for sites with thumbnail and movie galleries.

Membership on the site requires registration, but there are incentives to posting on its boards, including a share of a $3,500 prize to the top posters and customized signature caricatures by PornResource’s art department.

BossHawg and his brother, Dirt-E, started PornResource in early 2000. The site makes money from webmaster and affiliate program advertising, and BossHawg believes that the additional content and incentives on the site make the resource more attractive.

“We want to give webmasters a good idea what the heck’s what,” he said.
