Due to the extreme success of the initial XBIZ Speed Networking event at February's XBIZ Hollywood Conference, the show's organizers have decided to pull out all the stops, with a bigger and better series of sessions running over the course of several days.
The first event offered thirty stations with participants divided into "red" and "blue" teams, with the blue team remaining seated, while the participants with red cards changed stations every two minutes.
The new system at the XBIZ Summer Forum will allow four times as many participants.
"XBIZ Speed Networking v2.0 will take our next-gen personal introduction service to the next level," XBIZ President Alec Helmy said. "The response to the first event was so overwhelmingly positive that we knew we had a winner."
Four 90-minute sessions are currently planned, set to run prior to the afternoon luncheon and evening cocktail parties; providing an easy opportunity to continue select discussions or to meet up with folks you may have missed during the regular sessions.
The new networking series will offer greater levels of participation, allowing for more interaction between adult industry content and service providers and their prospective customers in a controlled and productive setting.
"At most shows people who have made previous connections don't tend to meet new people," XBIZ Publisher Tom Hymes said. "Speed Networking is all about bringing people out of their social circles and comfort zones in an attempt to meet new people and talk new business."
The previous event had an extensive waiting list, and interest in the new event is already prompting excitement.
