Traffic Dude, ExpressPro Announce Merger

PUEBLO, Colo. — The management team at Traffic Dude has announced a long-term partnership with ExpressPro, a search marketing agency offering paid inclusion advertising services on top-tier search engines.

The combined company will operate under the Traffic Dude brand. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

"As a result of a longstanding relationship and looking at ways to create better economies of scale, the ExpressPro business, in its entirety, will be managed and operated by Traffic Dude," Scott Rabinowitz, Traffic Dude cofounder, told XBIZ. "We know the operators of ExpressPro, have known them for many years in different capacities. We respect their business. Myself and our V.P. Rainey Stricklin have both purchased paid-inclusion campaigns on behalf of different companies.

"We're very familiar with their core product, and it's a natural fit," he said.

The combined organization will support and manage paid inclusion campaigns for current ExpressPro and Traffic Dude clients, and will jointly support new clients. These services will be offered along with Traffic Dude’s existing range of media buying and traffic management offerings.

“We’ve been great friends with the Traffic Dude team for years," said Greg Dumas, president of the parent company for ExpressPro. "During our conversations one thing became clear: We are both committed to providing quality traffic products that generate a solid return on investment to our clients, innovative technology, and a dedication to service. Combining forces with an established industry firm to offer a broader range of quality, targeted advertising products to our client base is the best move for us and for our clients.”

Tela Andrews, vice president and general manager of ExpressPro, will continue to manage the paid search business on behalf of the Traffic Dude organization. Traffic Dude Vice President Rainey Stricklin will supervise overall sales operations for the company and the integration of the ExpressPro business into Traffic Dude operations. The combined organization will maintain its key staff in various markets including Los Angeles, Florida, Toronto and Arizona.

Traffic Dude, which won an XBIZ Award for Emerging Web Company of the Year award in January, is an adult-focused advertising agency that specializes in bringing consumer advertising options to a broad client base and licensing AdZones, its premium ad serving solution.

Express Pro specializes in driving targeted search engine traffic to client websites, with services including paid inclusion, keyword marketing and domain management.
