Adam & Eve Opens 27th Franchise Store, in Tempe, Ariz.

HILLSBOROUGH, N.C. — Mail order and Internet retailer Adam & Eve has opened a new retail franchise store in Tempe, Arizona. Adam & Eve has retail stores in North Carolina, Florida, Massachusetts, Idaho, Michigan, Kentucky, Missouri and Montana.

"We're excited about this venture with Adam & Eve," Larry, operations manager for the store, told XBIZ. "We're excited about the product, we're excited about seeing people happy. We're the people that people come see to maintain a strong, healthy relationship; that's what we're most excited about."

The store, which opened March 28, offers a variety of moderately priced lingerie, club and party wear, accessories, novelties, games, DVDs and videos aimed toward women and couples.

"We are extremely pleased to have an anchor store in the Southwest," said Marcus Goswick, Operations Manager for Adam & Eve Retail. "Franchise owner Ken McCormick is a talented entrepreneur who will no doubt provide the Adam & Eve experience to the people of Tempe, Arizona."

Franchise owner McCormick is proud of the store.

"Adam & Eve stores are clean, well-lit, women- and couples-friendly establishments," McCormick said. "With an emphasis on a positive shopping experience and an incredible selection of lingerie, Adam & Eve stores offer both the guarantees and customer service that the Adam & Eve company has built its reputation upon."

The store, called simply "Adam & Eve," is located at 222 W. Southern Ave. in Tempe, Ariz. Store hours are Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m.-10 p.m., and Sunday, noon-5 p.m.

Events including in-store promotions, celebrity signings and information seminars planned for spring and summer.
