BIG Daddy Beefs Up 2009 Calendar Line

LOS ANGELES — Village Lighthouse has announced that its BIG Daddy 2009 calendar line, featuring 10 different styles of calendars showcasing super-sexy photography, will release in late May.

Brand new editions of BIG Daddy's best-selling titles are back again this year, including the hunks seen in the pages of Playgirl magazine, the muscular rugged men from gay studio Raging Stallion Studios and the big hairy studs from photographer bubbaclicks in Bear Men.

“With four of the six BIG Daddy titles we published last year selling out, the decision to expand this adult calendar line was very easy,” Village Lighthouse President Ron Miller said.

“Since launching BIG Daddy as an adult greeting card and magnet company in 2006, there has been a continuously growing demand and positive response from consumers,” he said. “Our customers began asking for more and more new products from BIG Daddy [that] featured its edgy and sexy adult imagery.

“Photography from industry leaders such as Playgirl, Rascal Video, Falcon Studios and Raging Stallion Studios has been invaluable to our success, and we are proud to announce the addition of the work of BangBangBoys.com, Joe Oppedisano, Tom Bianchi and Foto by Michio.

The sexy men from the popular website BangBangBoys.com are featured in two new titles — Skin and Naked & Exposed. Skin shows how the exotic, hung studs of South America cool off on long, hot summer days. Naked & Exposed reveals what hot young fraternity guys do when they are not studying.

Other new titles include Street Fight from photographer Oppedisano — this intense calendar takes fans into a fantasy of witnessing an undercover erotic fighting club filled with hot men taking out their aggressions on each other — and Bianchi Men, featuring the new work from gay photographer Bianchi. Out of the Studio, a limited-edition calendar of Bianchi's classic photography of male camaraderie, is being released by Provocateur along with the BIG Daddy titles in late May.

Two additional calendars featuring Oppedisano's photography are being released by 10 percent, a division of Village Lighthouse. The bestselling calendar Athletes is back for a second year and features incredibly sexy jocks. Knockout! features amazing photography of hot mixed-martial-arts sportsmen.

The accompanying film “Knockout!” takes viewers behind the scenes of Oppedisano's photo shoot at the world famous Gleason's Gym in New York. The DVD will be released on May 20.

For those with a hearty appetite, BIG Daddy now offers a brand new calendar featuring extra large men entitled XXL Men with photography by Foto by Michio. Another calendar hoping to satisfy customers’ tastes for unmanicured rugged men is Bear Men, a 2008 bestseller, which features all new hot and hunky bears.

“The highly anticipated calendar with impressive prebook sales to date is Meat,” said Miller. “This calendar is the ultimate celebration of masculinity, fertility and power with statuesque men featuring every inch of their physiques.”

The biggest, baddest models in the adult film industry are back again this year in two different Raging Stallion Studios calendars featuring photography by Kent Taylor. In Stallions, fan favorites Steve Cruz, Jake Deckard, Dirk Jager, Remy Delanie and more are featured in the all-new collection. From the military epic “Grunts” comes the accompanying wall calendar featuring the hottest studs from the blockbuster film.

As the popularity of the BIG Daddy line grows, so has its international reach. For the first time ever, the calendars will include the months and days of the week in four different languages — French, Spanish, German and Italian.

All BIG Daddy calendars contain full nudity and feature a variety of different types of men.

The suggested retail price of the BIG Daddy 2009 Calendar is $15.95 each.

Customers can prebook online at 10percent.com and Amazon.com.

BIG Daddy titles will also be available at local community retailers.
