“We made a lot of good contacts at the fair and received so much positive reaction to our product portfolio that we decided the time is right to open up the Mexican market for pjur products,” pjur CEO Alexander Giebel said.
“It was very important for us to get the right feel for the market at the trade show,” Giebel added. “We are delighted to have received such high recognition from the Mexican public. Our plans for the future are now clear. We are setting up a new sales office in Mexico, though a local sales team will deal with all market requirements, as well as distribution of pjur products.”
The location of the new office was not announced.
The Expo Sexo is Mexico’s only adult industry consumer show, and was founded in 2004. Mexican adult industry estimates put revenue from adult entertainment at more than $1 billion annually.
