FPG Entertainment Wins Best New Studio at Hard Choice Awards

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Gay studio FPG Entertainment has won the Best New Studio award at X-Factor’s 14th Annual Hard Choice Awards.

“We would like to give a huge ‘Thank you’ to Onan the Vulgarian at XXFactor.com,” FPG President Marco Guerra said. “It is a further honor to have our title ‘Punks’ be awarded runner-up for Best Screenplay. We take great pride in the crafting of our work, and we hope that this has shown through.”

FPG Entertainment was launched last year and has released three titles so far: “Punks,” “TopDawgs” and “Betrayed.”

All three titles have received favorable reviews. In fact, “TopDawgs” was nominated for an XBIZ Award for GLBT Feature Movie of the Year and FPG was nominated for GLBT Studio of the Year.

“It feels good to have our entrance into this industry validated with this award,” Guerra said. “It’s incredibly encouraging to be recognized and held up to the same standards as our peers. Being the ‘new kid on the block’ is no easy task. You swim in an ocean of competition. It takes persistence and dedication to find the end goal. Our goal is to put forth the best product we can, while taking into account production quality, story, acting and excellent customer service.”

XXFactor.com and reviewer Onan the Vulgarian have been bestowing the Hard Choice Awards upon the gay adult industry for 14 years. It is the second-longest-running gay porn awards show.

“To have XXFactor.com spotlight our studio and our work, makes us very proud,” Guerra said. “It shows us that we are headed in the right direction.”
