The Men's Club of Charlotte Opens New Sky Lounge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Adult superstars Ron Jeremy and North Carolina native Carmen Hart will be on hand to celebrate the opening of The Sky Lounge, a 4,000-square-foot upgrade to The Men's Club.

They will be joined by nude comedienne Jade Simon St. Clair, an exotic dancer and a former Miss Nude World; and Moonlite Bunny Ranch proprietor Dennis Hof, star of the hit HBO documentary "Cathouse."

The Men's Club, which has offered first-class adult entertainment in Charlotte since 1996, is bringing its Vegas-style venue to the Queen City, with a Grand Opening this Wednesday through Friday of the luxury nightclub lounge space, which overlooks the main floor and grand stage.

The Sky Lounge features an expansive new bar using state-of-the-art LED lighting concepts, nine new High Definition TVs (adding to 10 on the main level), a new onyx performance stage and exquisite furnishings as part of the upgrade. There are also six luxury Sky Boxes in the upgraded, 19,000-square-foot restaurant.

"The Men's Club has become increasingly popular among couples and is the ideal spot for entertaining clients," Lloyd Ace, general manager, said. "Our club and the entertainment it offers is the kind of adult experience you'd expect in a Las Vegas or even a Paris nightclub. With our new, upscale space guests can expect even more luxury and hospitality."

The Sky Lounge can accommodate large groups for private parties and is suited for conventioneers and trade show attendees.

The Men's club features a lunch and dinner menu featuring steaks and seafood, including live Maine lobster, and is one of the few Charlotte restaurants serving a full menu until 1 a.m. every day. A new glass-enclosed center wine cellar with a 2,200 bottle capacity showcases a 200-selection wine list.

"The Men's Club is clearly destined to be one of Charlotte's top dining and wine destinations," Ace said. "Our club in Dallas has been featured in Wine Spectator, taking the magazine's annual Award of Excellence for its wine list the past two years. We will offer that same level of quality experience here in Charlotte."

The Men's Club has been featured in Playboy magazine, USA Today, Newsweek and other national publications. In Charlotte, it has repeatedly won best club awards and rave reviews from Creative Loafing, among others.
