The new title will be available through VOD and wholesale channels.
A dip into the world of magic realism marks "The Portal," which chronicles the misadventures of an unsavory boyfriend who wakes up one day to find himself transformed into a human rubber doll.
GwenMedia tapped composed Rich Brigham for "The Portal," and company owner Isabella Sinclaire is praising the results.
“The score in 'The Portal' came out [incredibly]," she said. “Collaborating with such a talented and well respected composer like Rich helped create just the right mood for the fetish universe we were trying to create in the movie."
Sinclaire also said that demand for rubber-doll fetish movies and content has been growing. To that end, the storyline for "The Portal" includes a few different versions of it. The unsavory boyfriend at movie's center turns into a rubber doll, as well as a piece of furniture covered in latex. Electrocution, hardcore bondage, spanking, breath play, nipple torture and hot wax also figure into the plot.
"There really isn't enough material out there to meet the demands of people interested in the rubber doll fetish," Sinclaire said. "And with the release of 'The Portal' we are hoping to represent what has often been an underrepresented niche.”
Pulse Distribution VP of Sales Robert Polarski said he and his team are excited to work with GwenMedia.
“GwenMedia always provides high-quality material designed for the true fetish consumer,” he said.
"The Portal" stars Mistress Sable and fetish couple Kade and Skye.
