NakedSword Takes Chicago

CHICAGO — The NakedSword Network was on hand to document last weekend in Chicago, where the 10th annual Grabby Awards took place alongside the International Mr. Leather (IML) competition and Chicago Bear Pride.

NakedSword media outlets, led by TheSword.com, attended major weekend events providing exclusive, live coverage. The Tim and Roma Show spent the weekend filming in Chicago, where they hosted the Grabby Awards red carpet reception.

“We're confused as to what day it is and where this inflatable sheep came from, but we do know that we had a great time,” Sword editor and “Tim and Roma Show” producer Michael Stabile said. “Through determination and some well scheduled sobriety, we were able to get stories and shots that others couldn’t. Have you seen my underwear?”

Full coverage of last weekend’s events is available on TheSword.com. The online news magazine was the first to break the Grabby winners online, as well as video with industry insiders and stars.

The “Tim and Roma Show”-hosted event at Hydrate Bar brought together dozens of stars. Also, as the media sponsor of the Grabbys, the NakedSword crew filmed the entire awards show. A condensed edit of footage from the events will be available in episodes to affiliates and content partners.

NakedSword.com also saw many of its 2007 co-productions awarded recognition.

“Grunts,” the co-production between NakedSword and Raging Stallion Studios, took home top honors for Best Video and Best Director, as well as a host of other awards; the NakedSword-Titan Media co-production of “FEAR” from the Folsom-branded line brought home Best (Extreme) Fetish Movie of the year; and 2007 NakedSwordsman Jake Deckard took home Performer of the Year award.
