Online VOD Service Midnite Videos Prepares for Late June Launch

NEW YORK — Midnite Videos is preparing to launch its new online adult movie service June 21. The company's site will present adult movies in high definition, offering clearer video and better downloads for video on demand.

"We have high definition movies, and streaming in high definition," said Tory Labarbera, marketing and sales director for Midnite Videos. "We can also take movies that are not in HD-DVD format and give them a high definition quality. The quality of the video stream is excellent, everything that I've played buffers really fast with no interruptions."

Productions from adult studios Adam and Eve, Wicked Pictures, Metro, Pleasure Productions, Woodman Entertainment, Sin City and Red Light District will be available initially from Midnite Videos.

Midnite Videos' real-time statistics program, Midnite Dollars, lets producers directly log in to see how many people are watching specific titles at that moment and how much money has been made to that point. Producers can pull a title for any reason, at any time.

"Midnite Dollars has been very popular," Labarbera said. "All the studios I've shown it to really liked it and were impressed. We brought a working, real-time demonstration to studio offices such as Wicked Pictures and made a very good impression." The countdown to the official launch is online at MidniteVideos.com. Producers who want to join Midnite Videos should email Tory Labarbera at tory@midnitevideos.com or call 718-945-5437.
