The distribution agreement for its library begins this month. The first new production under the agreement, "Girls With Daddy Issues," will ship in July.
“Pure Play always seeks the best studios to work with,” Pure Play Media CEO Richard Arnold said. “Pink Lotus Entertainment is our latest discovery and a perfect addition, having received attention on Playboy TV for its triple-X parodies. This studio is gaining momentum and has much to offer. I am happy to have Pure Play distributing exclusively for them.”
Pink Lotus started to make videos that emulated the '70s Golden Age, according to creative director Vincenzo Piano.
“We like to think of ourselves as an indie film company that releases work on par with that of the majors in the adult industry Our first film slated for DVD release through Pure Play is "Girls With Daddy Issues." Our next upcoming parody releases will be "Horat" (a parody on "Borat") and "The HO-C" (a parody on "The O.C.," the Fox television show), with many more already in production to release later this year."
Pink Lotus business partner and CFO Andreas Viola is pleased with the new distribution agreement.
“We have been producing films for more than a year now and have fielded numerous potential distribution partnerships with companies," Viola said. "None of the others had a catalogue as respectable as Pure Play Media. Our goal is to evolve into one of the premier feature-producing companies out there — and through our partnership with Pure Play this will be achieved.”
Pure Play Media's distribution slate includes The SCORE Group, Private Media Group, Homegrown Video, Naughty America, Silver Sinema, Hundies, Swank Digital, Suze Randall, Seymore Butts, Cousin Stevie and HellHouse Media.
