Sechrest Doubles Up on Porn Star Events

WEST HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — Gay industry personality Jason Sechrest — who launched the Porn Star of the Week club night at Here Lounge in West Hollywood, and the Porn Star Alley event at MJ's Bar in Silverlake — has announced that he will begin to host both shows at both venues.

This brings Sechrest’s club night events to a total of four nights a week.

Porn Star of the Week offers fans a chance to hang out with stars from the gay adult industry and watch them dance live on stage.

At the Porn Star Alley event, Sechrest interviews his porn guests onstage and takes questions from the audience.

Both shows will now be featured at Here Lounge and MJ's Bar, with autograph and photo opportunities for the fans, as well as giveaways.

"The nights are pulling in hundreds of people a week and it's because of those audience numbers that the venues are asking for more," Sechrest said.

"It's a combination of everyone that has made these evenings the most successful in the history of gay porn and L.A. nightlife,” he added. “It's the faces in the audience I see every week that are devoted to coming to every event. It's the porn stars that give it their all every week. It's the studios that give us the best free giveaways.

“It's Anthony Lopez as the promoter who really believed in these nights from day one and gave us time to grow,” Sechrest said. “It's the DJs like Chi Chi LaRue who come out and know that when they're having fun, we're having fun. And I'm really nothing more than the glue that brings all of these amazing forces together."

The clubs will alternate the shows with the following schedule:

Every Wednesday, the "Porn Star of the Week: West Hollywood Edition" will be held at Here Lounge, starting at 10 p.m.

Thursdays, the "Porn Star Alley: Silverlake Edition" will take place at MJ's Bar, from 6:30-9 p.m.

On Fridays, "Porn Star Alley: West Hollywood Edition” will be at Here Lounge from 6:30 p.m.- 9 p.m.

And on Sundays, “Porn Star of the Week: Silverlake Edition" will be at MJ's Bar, from 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

"I have the best job in the world four nights a week," Sechrest said. "I'm paid to drink with my friends, party with the porn stars and fondle hot men inappropriately. If you're not there with me, you're missing out on the party."
