Plan 9 Media Group Taps Mark Hovanec

LOS ANGELES — Adult entertainment public relations agency Plan 9 Media Group tapped industry veteran Mark Hovanec as director of marketing.

Hovanec retains more than 10 years of experience in the adult and online industries. During his tenure Hovanec developed peer-to-peer webcam sites, membership and community websites, search engine optimization and affiliate programs, advertising and marketing strategies, marketed and produced award-winning programs and spearheaded the rebranding of several companies.

"An effective publicity campaign coupled with the right marketing push can make all the difference in raising a company's stature among its peers in the industry and among the consumers," Hovanec said. "I'm very pleased to be working with experienced publicists like Wayne Hentai and Shari Beaumont, who value what good marketing can bring to their clients."

Hentai, Plan 9 Media Group cofounder, said Hovanec's expertise in marketing and ecommerce will round out the services Plan 9 Media Group offers its clients.

"Mark's done outstanding work and we're sure he can bring his talent, skill and experience to help our clients gain sales and market share," Hentai said. "He understands the adult business, where it's going and how companies can grow their business in this competitive environment. Shari and I are very pleased to have him on board."

"Mark's addition to Plan 9 Media Group means that we aren't just another publicity firm,” said Shari Beaumont, Plan 9 Media Group cofounder. “The three of us can more effectively coordinate our PR and marketing efforts by integrating our strategies, offering our clients opportunities for tremendous growth."
