X-Ball Detroit Gears Up for Exotica

DETROIT — Kinky Midwesterners are gearing up for X-Ball Detroit taking place Saturday, Aug. 2., hosted by fetish model and native Michiganian, Noir Halo.

The brainchild of ringmaster Chaos and event promoter/fetish model Vena , X-Ball was intended to be a one-night party preluding the three-day fetish festival Exotica. Since its inception it’s become a twice-yearly event scheduled to take place between every Exotica. According to the organizers, the event has earned the unofficial title of “Detroit’s Fetish Ball.”

Next month’s party will take place at Clutch Cargos, a nightclub located in an old church, located at 65 E Huron St. in the city of Pontiac.

Performances are expected from NooMoon Tribe of New Orleans and Chaos Productions. DJ Darks Choir, DJ Alexi and DJ London Shadows are spinning at the event. And Los Angeles-based rave/club wear designer Vinyl Dolls will host a fashion show. VIP guests for X-Ball include fetish photographer Larry Bradby and model Nicotine. Leather designer Leather Realm and whip specialist Cat O Nine Tails will have booths set up in the club.

As an added feature, the entire weekend plays host to the Detroit Erotic Arts Collaborative hosted by DVS Photography. The two-day erotic photo shoot and exhibit brings together more than 100 models and photographers from all over the country.

X-Ball Detroit is expected to begin at 9 p.m. and organizers have promised to keep the party going until 3 a.m. Attendees can upgrade their tickets to VIP status for an additional charge. VIP tickets allow partygoers access to Studio 54’s VIP lounge hosted by Detroit’s Jessica Rabbit. Fashionable fetish or erotic wear is strongly suggested and guests are encouraged to use the public play area, which will feature an assortment of bondage furniture.
