The site is ClipClinic.com, and it works like this: Amateur producers sign up for an online store at the site and upload full-length or short videos. The amateur producers can then sell that content through ClipClinic, which hosts the content and processes payments for the producers.
ClipClinic's Amber T. Myers said that a grassroots philosophy drives the new site.
"When people ask me what I do on the Internet, I tell them that I teach studios and webmasters how to make money," she said. "This is what is so exciting about ClipClinic.com."
Myers said she plans to bring her experience running affiliate programs to bear on ClipClinic, which gives producers total control over the presentation of their material. The site also provides guidance regarding pricing for clips.
"I get to do what I love," Myers said. "I help producers and upcoming webmasters promote themselves, market their sites and ultimately make new friends while providing a means for them to earn a large income online."
