Eurowebtainment Supports ASACP

LOS ANGELES — Attendees at the upcoming Eurowebtainment meeting will have the opportunity to learn more about the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) and its work on behalf of the online adult industry.

Eurowebtainment is an international event for Internet, telecommunication and SAT/Web-TV entertainment providers, which offers seminars, speeches, company presentations, networking opportunities and more.

The Eurowebtainment meeting in Vienna, Austria, takes place August 5-11.

“Eurowebtainment has always been very supportive of ASACP. Understanding that we are a non-profit organization with a limited budget and therefore unable to attend every conference, Eurowebtainment organizers have consistently volunteered to represent ASACP at events," ASACP CEO Joan Irvine said. "Their support greatly helps us to educate people about ASACP and the adult industry’s efforts to protect children on an international level.”

The Eurowebtainment event is the principle trade meeting in Europe, meeting the high demands of a professional business-to-business (B2B) trade meeting with seminars and workshops and above all providing a professional forum for international networking.

“The Eurowebtainment meeting is known as the most important business event of its kind in Europe and we are pleased to help represent ASACP at this event,” Thomas Wagner of Eurowebtainment said. “Key players in the industry meet in a professional B2B environment to exchange business content and ideas. Networking takes place in a relaxing atmosphere. Interesting presentations and Gala-parties enhance this special business event.”

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet and preventing children from viewing age-inappropriate material online via the Restricted to Adults (RTA) website label.
