Private Enters European Mobile Deal

BARCELONA, Spain — European porn powerhouse Private Media Group has signed an agreement with data services firm MindMatics AG to market Private content to more than 220 million mobile customers throughout Europe.

Under the deal, Private content will now be available on mobile devices in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Sweden, Spain and France through Private’s flagship website, Private.com.

"This agreement marks a turning point in our mobile content services,” Private CEO Berth Milton said. “Our recent development of a dedicated mobile content department headed up by Tim Clausen is proof of our strategic focus in this area.”

“This collaboration with MindMatics will enable us to leverage both our unique range of content and our huge existing customer base to take our mobile presence in Europe to a truly market dominant position, the revenue potential of which is just waiting to be exploited," Milton added.

Initially, Private’s mobile offerings will be marketed to existing customers and other visitors to its website but will eventually be expanded to include print and broadcast customers.

In addition to content, Private will offer users a range of personalized products and services such as chat, wallpapers, videos, ringtones and erotic games.

MindMatics will handle the technical development and maintenance of these products and services in compliance with each country’s regulations for adult material.

MindMatics’ proprietary “mCMS” technology will automatically decide on the best delivery method for different devices as well as allow for flexible updating, positioning and reporting of all offers.
