GayToday.com Revived Via TheSword

SAN FRANCISCO —Badpuppy.com this week announced the relaunch of long-dormant gossip and news website GayToday.com with content syndicated via RSS from TheSword.com, the upstart gossip blog launched one year ago by VOD network NakedSword.com.

“The partnership with GayToday helps us expand TheSword's audience, while increasing the overall value of GayToday,” TheSword Editor-in-Chief Mike Stabile said.

Stabile added that he is pleased TheSword’s first syndicated feed is with Badpuppy, whom he describes as "among our oldest friends in the business."

GayToday went dark in 2005 following the death of founding editor Jack Nichols.

Badpuppy's Marketing Manager Lisa Turner notes that video, pictures and opinions provided by TheSword are the fuel that gives their relaunch an invaluable boost of publicity.

"We here at Badpuppy are thrilled to work hand-in-hand with TheSword in this venture," she says. "It lays the path for two great opportunities, with the first one being a means to breathe fresh air into our once very well-known media website," and the second an opportunity to "work with friends we've known and respected within the industry for more than a decade."
