U of Nebraska Wrestlers Dismised from Team in Gay Porn Scandal

LINCOLN, Neb. — Two University of Nebraska wrestlers were dismissed from the team after photos of them appeared on FratMen.tv, a website featuring gay porn.

The photos were identified as national champion Paul Donahoe, a senior from Davison, Mich., who won the 2007 NCAA national championship at 125 pounds, and teammate Kenny Jordan, a junior from Frankfort, Ill., who came to Nebraska out of high school before transferring to Lincoln (Ill.) Community College, where he was a 2007 national junior college champion before returning to Nebraska last fall.

Donahoe and Jordan were declared ineligible because they violated an NCAA rule that prohibits athletes from appearing in pictures for commercial use, assistant athletic director for compliance Josh White said.

The two posed partially dressed and nude, but did not appear together in any pictures.

Late last week, Nebraska wrestling coach Mark Manning told reporters the incident was under internal review and NU officials were unclear as to whether the photographs could constitute a potential violation of NCAA rules.
