Doghouse — owned by Mile High Media, the Canadian distribution company that recently launched Vivid Canada in conjunction with Vivid Entertainment — shoots gonzo titles such as “Black Bros and White Hos,” “Girly Gang Bang,” “Bubble Cum” and the foot-fetish series “Eat My Feet.”
“We’ve assembled an excellent sales team that includes Victoria Montbriand, and having everyone under one roof allows us to provide better customer service,” Jon B, general manager of Doghouse Digital, said in a release.
Montbriand is an industry sales veteran who helped launch Private North America and Private Canada before joining Doghouse.
Doghouse said it will continue to fulfill U.S. orders from its Chatsworth, Calif., warehouse and intends to continue producing a good portion of its content in Southern California.
“[The move] also makes in-house communication much more efficient,” Jon B said. “We’re planning on ramping up our schedule in a big way during the second half of 2005 and having everyone on the same page is going to be essential to that effort.”
