OGV representatives said that he and his team chose a "Cherry Poppers" title as their first Blu-ray entry because of its ongoing popularity.
"The Cherry Poppers series has been a fan favorite for years because it featured fresh new faces, and this re-emergence of the line will not disappoint," a representative said, adding that the new title will hit stores in both DVD and Blu-ray.
OGV's Bob East praised the technicians behind this premiere release.
“This is a great disk," he said. "It's 100 percent HD and in 16X9 widescreen. The authoring guys went all out. We have fully interactive pop-up menus so you can play the movie and check out the other features without interrupting your viewing."
Those interactive features extend beyong the moviewatching experience, as consumers will be able to control the photo gallery with ease and without interrupting the soudtrack.
“We didn’t want there to be any question that this Blu-ray presentation was our best work ever," he said.
The title will also hit stores with four different covers – softcore and hardcore for both the DVD and Blu-ray releases.
