Padova, a lifelong San Fernando Valley resident, explained the "Butt’Er Face" concept to XBiz.
“It’s when a woman has a banging body but her face…” she said.
Padova has garnered a reputation as an extreme performer in more than 200 films, and her outspoken nature and multiple posts and feuds on message boards like XXXPornTalk.com have made her a lightning rod, especially when the UCLA biochemistry graduate weighed in on misconceptions about last year’s industry HIV scare.
“God bless everybody, but some people need to be educated,” she said, referring to what she described as " a lot of misinformation" about how HIV could be spread.
Padova said she had such fun with the first trilogy of "Butt’Er Face" movies (parts One, Deux and Trois) that directing “Revenge” was easy.
“The ‘Butt’Er Face’ movies are all very silly with a lot of inside jokes about the porn industry,” Padova said. “You get a record of the little things happening in the business during the scenes.”
SkinTight Pictures, launched in 2002 by Cram and Grip Johnson, one a former mainstream writer and the other a product placement specialist for the tobacco industry, is distributed by Legend.
The Johnsons met on the set of the Paul Rodriguez vehicle “A Million to Juan” and decided almost immediately to begin shooting porn instead. “We are like the Coen Brothers but we pick better projects,” Cram said, adding, “It’s a lot better to market porn to perverts than cigarettes to kids.”
"Revenge of the Butt'Er Face" is not only Padova's directorial debut but the first SkinTight film the Johnson brothers are not helming themselves.
