ASACP to Screen PSAs at Exxxotica New York

LOS ANGELES — Attendees at this year's Exxxotica New York will have the opportunity to watch the public service announcements (PSAs) produced by ASACP running on the big screen at the entertainment stage throughout the event.

The PSAs being shown feature Stormy Daniels, Tera Patrick and Evan Seinfeld discussing the Restricted to Adults (RTA) Website Label. The PSAs can also be viewed on ASACP’s YouTube channel at YouTube.com/asacprta.

“It is incredibly important to inform the public exactly what the adult industry is doing to protect children online,” ASACP CEO Joan Irvine said. “We are very grateful to the event organizers for volunteering to show the RTA PSAs as well as provide information on ASACP to attendees. This is especially true since many of the attendees are parents. This will help to remind them to use parental control filtering systems.”

Exxxotica New York will take place at the Meadowlands Expo Center in Secaucus, N.J., and is the largest adult-themed event on the East Coast.

“We’re once again very happy to support ASACP,” Exxxotica New York director J. Handy said. “Their organization plays such an important role in protecting the welfare of children and we’re happy to promote and support them in any way possible.”

The show, which will run from Sept. 12-14, features appearances by adult entertainment stars, exhibits of adult products and services, a live entertainment stage and an educational seminar series. Promoters expect more than 20,000 attendees at this year's expo.

Exxxotica New York also will have dedicated B2B hours where professionals in the adult industry will be able to browse the exhibitors before the general public is admitted.

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection is a nonprofit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet. ASACP also works to help parents prevent children from viewing age-inappropriate material online. Companies and individuals interested in supporting ASACP can visit asacp.org for more information about how to get involved.
