ImLive.com Announces 'Refer a Friend' Contest

CYBERSPACE — Webcam service provider ImLive.com has launched a new "Refer a Friend" contest, offering cash prizes from a $460,000 prize pool — including a $100,000 top prize — to the members who refer the most friends who join the site.

I think it's a great way for our loyal members to recommend the site to their friends and get credit from us for doing this," ImLive Business Development Director Yuval K told XBIZ. "We have more than 13 million happy members now, and we believe they want to share this experience they had with their friends so we decided to benefit them for doing that."

The top referrer will get a prize of $100,000. Second place will get $25,000, third place will get $15,000, fourth through tenth will get $10,000, 11th-50th will get $5,000, 51st-100th will get $1,000 and 101st-200th will get 200 ImLive credits.

"I think that as a member I would feel great if I would also get a prize of $100,000, or at least enter a raffle for referring my friends to a site I love to go to," Yuval K said. "It's a huge prize but we love doing it for our devoted members. We have a lot of referrals and thought it's the time to give back to our members for that. So this is the way to do it."

For more information or to enter the contest, visit ImLive's contest website.

The contest runs from Sept. 1-Dec. 31. Winners are scheduled to be announced Jan. 31, 2009.
