Manhunt Latest ASACP Corporate Sponsor

LOS ANGELES — The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) has announced that Manhunt has become its newest Corporate Sponsor.

According to the company, Manhunt, a social networking website operated by Online Buddies, Inc., provides a destination for men to meet each other online; providing safe, friendly and exciting ways to express themselves and to interact with one another freely.

"I am very impressed with Manhunt's effort to assure that they are doing everything possible to protect children online," ASACP CEO Joan Irvine said. "They have even engaged the services of ASACP's Director of Technology and Compliance Tim Henning to train their staff and review their compliance operations. This is a first!"

"There is nothing more important to the people of Manhunt than protecting children from inappropriate content and situations on the Internet," CEO of Online Buddies, Inc., Adam Segel added. "Joining ASACP is one part of our cross-business mandate to proactively seek out ways to continually improve our policies, communications, marketing, and operations to keep all children safe on the Internet."

Founded in 1996, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) is a non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating child pornography from the Internet and preventing children from viewing age-inappropriate material online via the Restricted to Adults (RTA) website label.
