Reality Contestant Unfazed by Gay Porn Scenes

LOS ANGELES — According to GayPornTimes.com, “Crazy” James Zinkland, the pink-mohawked, heavily tattooed “Big Brother 9” housemate who performed in gay scenes, has said in an interview that he embraced them.

“I had sex with dudes,” Zinkland told a CBS interviewer. “It doesn’t blow my mind, and it shouldn’t blow your mind, you know? I just did it on tape, you know? And I did it in an environment that was conducive [to] where I didn’t have to worry about a lot of things going wrong.”

Zinkland, 21, acknowledged that he was bisexual and said the “porn was no big deal.”

Before stepping into the “Big Brother” house, Zinkland was unemployed and bicycling across the country.

He was evicted from the house in late March, but his housemates voted him back in immediately after (they were given a choice between the latest evicted houseguest — Zinkland — or a houseguest voted on by the American public). He was ultimately evicted from the house in early April, and went to the secret Jury House, where he and six other houseguests decided who would win the reality show’s ninth season.

At the April 27 finale, Zinkland received a $25,000 fan-favorite prize.

He expected the porn work would surface after he began appearing on network television three times a week.

“I was okay with it, I was comfortable with it, I was very open with it, but I didn’t want to bring it out on the show because a lot of people are homophobic,” Zinkland said. “Even with the bisexual thing, people were like, ‘Ooh.’”

Zinkland, whose Internet nickname is “Big Brother 9.5,” performed in Dirty Boy Video/NakedSword’s “Dirty Tricks” series.
